DATE: October 23, 2009
VERSION: 1.4
LICENSE: GPLv3
DESCRIPTION:

This is an uber minimalist GDM login theme. I doubt you can get more minimal than this without compromising usability. In fact, I dare you all to make one MORE minimal with the same functionality.

The theme has a pseudo prompt with the system name. You can click it to get an options menu. It also has a username and password entry field. That's it.

Let me know what you think.

I had one that I hacked together that was completely white with the input box which, being white, left only the cursor and input text visible. context menu with left click, and that's all the functionality I need. lost it, unfortunately.

basically, though mine was black text on white bg, and the prompt was in the middle and 10 pt metal font. I really like the new themes for ubuntu 9.04, so I prob won't do much theme customizing on this install.

I tried to make it as quickly as possible. That's cool if you don't use it.
I agree, 9.04 looks pretty slick.
